Revlon Colorstay Foundation Review

Hello beauties! There was no post yesterday due to me being a little bit busy (with shopping) oopsies but I'm back today and I thought that I'd share with you one of my favourite foundations, Revlon Colorstay.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation Sand Beige

Nearly a year ago now many beauty bloggers & youtubers were getting really pumped up and excited about the Revlon Colorstay foundation so when I seen it in Boots I couldn't resist and I decided to pick up 3 of the foundations in a 3 for 2 deal. It was a pretty good deal considering individually they cost £12.49 each. I bought 2 in Ivory for my 'normal' days and 1 in Sand beige for my fake tan days.

The foundation comes in a 30ml glass bottle and unfortunately has no pump on the bottle so you have to be careful not to pour out too much product. At first I thought the smell was incredibly strong but you get used to it when you use it for a long period of time.

Revlon Colorstay comes in 9 various shades, the palest being Ivory and the darkest shade being Caramel. The foundations have 2 different versions, normal/dry and oily/combo to suit the individuals skin type.

Below is a swatch of the Revlon Colorstay Foundation:

(Oops poured out a bit more than I wanted)

Before using the Revlon Colorstay foundation I was playing around with other foundations trying to find the right one that gave me the coverage I wanted and didn't make me look like I'd covered myself in orange paint.

The very first time I used this foundation I was so impressed at how much coverage I got, you could barely see my acne scars (curse you horrible skin). The foundation was so close to my skin tone, maybe not the exact same shade but it was pretty close. The Revlon Colorstay foundation is an incredible dupe for the MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation and I really recommend anyone to try this foundation out.

I'm so glad I came across this foundation, it's one of my all time favourite foundations along with the MAC Studio Fix Fluid of course!

Have you tried the Revlon Colorstay foundation?
