Spring and Summer Blush and Highlighter Picks

Hello lovelies!
The weather here in Devon has drastically changed from the amazing Summer like weather we had during the weekend. The sun didn't last here for long unfortunately but that's Devon(and the majority of the UK) for you. Typical british weather.
Summer is on it's way though so let's hope the weather is looking up again. Fingers crossed!
Anyway as I have mentioned before I love the transition from Spring to Summer. I don't normally switch up my makeup routine much during the seasonal changes. I very rarely wear a dark lipstick or over the top eye makeup. I can always be seen sporting a bright lip, a neutral eye and a slightly dewy, healthy complexion throughout most seasons.

At the moment my makeup routine mainly consists of a foundation, highlighter and blush. They always perk up my complexion during the spring and summer and takes my complexion from dull to healthy which I love. I don't know how I went without a highlighter and blush in my routine for the last few years. They are definitely a 'face changer' so to speak.

Here are my top 2 picks of blush and highlighters that are guaranteed to brighten up your face and get you spring and summer ready!

Spring and Summer Blush and Highlighter Picks

Spring and Summer Blush and Highlighter Picks

First up is the SEVENTEEN Instant Glow Shimmer Brick which I purchased over a month ago from Boots. I have it in the shade 'Pink Bronze' which is an absolutely gorgeous champagne/bronze/pink shade which I am in love with. You can mix up the four layers together to highlight areas such as down the nose, cupids bow, inner eye area and the top of your cheekbones for a gorgeous glow. It is so versatile, you can also choose to use just one of the layers for highlighting, contouring or you could even dust them onto your eyelids as an eyeshadow. It is an incredible product but I only like to use this for highlighting. If you'd like to learn more about this beauty keep your eyes peeled, there will be a review up on my blog soon. You can purchase this in another shade too called 'gold bronze' for an even deeper bronzed glow, they just cost £4.99 and there is 3 for 2 on all SEVENTEEN products too.

It's hardly a surprise to me that I've included theBalm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush in my top picks. It is a beautiful peachy/pink shade that is definitely guaranteed to add a healthy flush of colour to the cheeks during the s/s. It is very much a matte blush and there is absolutely no hint of shimmer in it at all. The blush is very versatile as it can be used as a shadow as well as just a blush but I find it looks better on the cheeks. I imagine this would look great on a variety of skin tones. I have quite pale skin and it works incredibly well for me. I wrote a full review on theBalm frat boy shadow/blush here if you'd like to take a peek.

Ahh, the much coveted MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle, what a shocker! I have so much love for this little beauty. It is a stunning champagne shade which gives the look of luminous, glowy skin. I like to apply it to the higher points of my cheekbones with my Real Techniques blush brush. Although there is quite a lot of shimmer it doesn't make your skin look overly glittery which is obviously not a good look. Who wants to look like a disco ball? It catches the light so well during the s/s. I wrote a full review on the MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle here if you'd like to learn more about it.

And finally, the Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks in Sweet Cheeks. I only bought this a few weeks ago in yet another boots haul and I love it already. I may have only bought it a few weeks ago but it's always in my makeup bag and I've found myself reaching for it almost every day. It is quite a subtle pink shade that gives a natural hint of colour to my cheeks. It's not overly pigmented like the fratboy blush but it's just as good. It's not too overwhelming on the cheeks either and doesn't cause those dreaded 'clown cheeks', urgh. Don't you just hate that? I loved this blush so much that I just had to purchase another two. This blush is so inexpensive at just £1.99! That's brilliant, right?

What are your Blush and Highlighter Picks for the S/S?

Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz | Review

Hello there lovelies!
Over the last few months I have been switching up and trying new products and I have fallen head over heels in love with one product in particular recently, the 100% rosewater toning spritz from the Boots Botanics range. I couldn't resist popping it in my virtual online basket with the offer of 1/3 off skincare.

I haven't tried anything from the Boots Botanics range before, it was the first product I have tried and I've been using it so often now that it's become a staple in my skincare routine and let me tell you why.

Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz
Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz
Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz

The Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz is 100% organic with ingredients such as glycerin, water, alcohol denat and also includes the beautifully fragranced rosewater which is said to be a great ingredient as it has been used for years to cleanse and tone the skin. It is not formulated with any parabens and it's not packed full with many ingredients like other products I have used in the past.

The packaging of this product is a tall, thin, white spritz bottle which is made using a 25% of recycled content. It is full to the brim with 150ml of the toning spritz and it has lasted me quite a long time. I purchased it nearly over a month ago now and I still have so much left to use. I am not in a rush to purchase another just yet. I think this may last me another month.

When I purchased this I wasn't actually expecting to like it, I was a bit apprehensive about it at first but the first time I tried it I was head over heels in love with it and I just can't get enough of it.
It has the most gorgeous aroma, it's lightly scented with the beautiful rosewater. It makes me feel so relaxed so it's hardly surprising that I enjoy it. It may not be to everyones taste though so I highly suggest you spritz it before purchasing.

The instructions are to close your eyes and spritz onto the skin and wipe it away with a cotton pad but I leave it to sink into the skin instead of wiping away. I don't understand these instructions but I love my way of doing it as I feel it works better for me.

I close my eyes and lightly mist this onto my face 3 times either side of my face and in front and on my neck but I always leave a bit of distance between the spray itself and my face. I do this both day and night after cleansing to tighten the pores and remove the remaining makeup on my face. I also apply it sometimes during the day to refresh. I didn't used to be all that into toner but I can't be without this in my skincare routine at the moment.

It sinks quickly onto my skin, giving my face an instant refresh and a slight tingling feeling which I quite like. It completely revitalizes and awakens my skin, it's perfect for those hot, humid days. It transforms my skin from dull to fresh and clean within seconds of spritzing. It will definitely come in handy for me this summer. That's one thing I need to pop into my beach bag!

As you probably know I have oily/acne-prone skin and I struggle to find products that don't exacerbate the problem but this does just the opposite for my skin. When I'm struggling with breakouts this little baby helps to soothe and calm my skin and does a great job of removing all traces of makeup.

After use my face feels fresh, clean and so so smooth, it is incredible. It is definitely one to rave about especially if you have the same skin type as myself.

I can't rave about this enough, I really want to try out more from the Boots Botanics range.

You can purchase the Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz from Boots online or in store for the RRP of £4.99 but at the moment it's on offer for £3.49.

Have you tried the Boots Botanics 100% Rosewater Toning Spritz?

Top Beauty Tips | A Bloggers Collaboration Part 2

Hello lovelies!
I hope you enjoyed yesterdays first part of the lovely bloggers collaboration. Myself and a few other lovely ladies have shared our best and favourite top beauty tips which I find to be incredibly helpful. Some of these tips will definitely come in handy to you one day.

Who's up for some more top beauty tips? I sure am! Let's get going shall we?

(1) Its all about being natural
Basically, if you suffer with overly dry skin or flakes etc go to your supermarket and buy natural yogurt. Natural yogurt is good for your skin and gives you that bit of
moisture your skin craves. I used to suffer with dry skin (mainly due to lack of moisturizing silly teenage Katie!) so my skin was out of control.
Apply this all over your face and leave to sit for around 20-40 minutes on your face until you feel it starting to go numb-ish. Then wash off when the times up.
Your face will feel like its just drank a gallon of water, its incredible how soft my skin felt after this it is definitely one of my favourite/quirky beauty tip that is inexpensive and natural.

(2) Less is more
I used to think using a lot of skincare products would help get rid of imperfections, but instead my face gradually got worse and I never gave products long enough to work. Keep your skincare routine simple, nobody needs to use: facial washes, serums, masks, scrubs, spot treatments etc all in one day your skin is just going to build up and possibly even increase your oils/dryness. Keep it simple then that way your face will adapt better to products and you will notice results.

(3) Natural beach waves
This is a tip/trick I use all the time because I avoid using heat on my hair completely. When I have just washed my hair and it is damp but gradually getting dry I apply some Moroccan or argan oil then put two plaits in either side of my hair either: normal of fish plaits. I go to sleep with them in then the next morning take them out (give them around 12 hours or more left in your hair if possible) then I get this wavy kind of hair. I like to flick my hair forward brush them apart with my fingers then you're done! if you're wanting texture a good product I like is VO5 give me texture. I also like to backcomb the ends of the waves to keep them in place. This is a great hairstyle avoids using heat and fits in with the time of year!

Warm up your eyelash curler

Blast your normal eyelash curler with your hair dryer for a couple of seconds before curling. The added heat gives a bigger and better curl that lasts longer!
Always test the heat on your wrist before heading straight for the eye area, just to check you aren’t going to burn yourself!

Brighten up your nails... with toothpaste!

If you’ve worn a darker colour for a while, you can sometimes end up with yellowish or slightly off colour nails. Gently scrubbing and cleaning the nails with a toothpaste that has a whitening element
will help bring your nails back to their nice colour, leaving you with lovely, white, natural tips!
Always make sure you have completely cleaned the toothpaste off afterwards, and try applying a cuticle oil just to avoid any dehydration.

Keep everything clean!

If you’ve wondered why a nasty spot keeps reoccurring, or that you seem to be getting more of them, it’s time to take a look at how clean your make up really is.
If you’ve used a concealer on a spot, wash the brush you have used in before dipping back into the product. This can be quite time consuming, but it saves the bacteria living inside the product and giving you more spots every time you apply. If you are suffering quite badly, try getting some disposable makeup brushes/sponges for concealer, foundation, mascara etc. You can just throw them away after one use and they aren’t too expensive to buy!
Wash your make up brushes as often as possible in an antibacterial soap that is kind to skin. Make sure you allow them to dry naturally and that they are fully dry before re-using them!

Using Lip Lacquer as a cheek stain

You're about to hit the road and you have absolutely no space left in your bag for extra makeup- just take a lip lacquer

I hope you all enjoyed reading through those tips. That is the second and last part of the bloggers collaboration and I have loved being involved in this. If anyone would like to take part in another collaboration in the future please let me know.

Top Beauty Tips | A Bloggers Collaboration Part 1

Hello lovelies!
I really wanted to get myself more involved with the blogging community lately and I thought what better way to get involved in it than to invite some of you lovely ladies to take part in a bloggers collaboration with me and I had so many great responses to this.

There are so many tips and tricks out there and I am always learning something new. I thought a great idea would be to share a few of mine and other bloggers beauty tips with you. You may already know about a few of them and some you may never of heard of. I for one was amazed at how many tips I have never heard of. They're all extremely helpful!

I have decided to keep it short and sweet and split the collaboration in two parts as I didn't want to make it extensively long. I hope you enjoy!

My Top Beauty Tips!

`1. Oily Hair- Every 2 to 3 days I wash my hair with a duo of shampoo and conditioner. I noticed that applying my conditioner on the roots of the hair made my hair overly greasy so what did I do? I stopped doing that of course. I now apply the shampoo all over the hair as normal and only apply my conditioner down the mids to the ends. That prevents my hair from producing more grease and oil and leaves it feeling better and fresher for longer.

2. Clean your Makeup brushes- Admittedly I can become quite lazy when it comes to this but it is definitely an important step for someone that suffers from oily skin and acne. When you use your makeup brushes quite often they become full of makeup, dirt and oil and that's never a good thing. Every weekend(when I'm not being lazy) I clean my makeup brushes with Johnsons Baby Shampoo. By doing this it gets rid of all that makeup and grime and they're fresh and clean ready for you to use for the next couple of days. You can also 'spot clean' them before or after use on the day of makeup application too. I have a tutorial here if you'd like to know more.

3. Match your foundation- I can firmly hold my hands up and say yes I have mismatched my foundation with my skin and no it was not pretty. Orange face and pale body? That's definitely a no no. I always used to test my foundation on my hand but it doesn't always give you the right match. Your hand can be a different colour to your face and neck. What I tend to do is pop a bit of foundation on the bottom of my chin, at the edge of my jaw and go into the natural light. This will ensure that you match the right foundation to your skin tone. None of that orange face and pale body business. You've found your match!

Hi I am Jules and I am am the blogger over at LippyLikes. I usually like to write about beauty news and reviews but today I am doing something  a little different. Today I am going to share with you my top three Beauty Hacks That WORK!

1. Everybody loves a glittery nail but aint nobody got time to remove it. I have tried all sorts of solutions in my time, from soaking in acetone to using industrial grade sandpaper, but to be honest it was all such a faff that I pretty much gave up on glitter polishes. But now I have discovered a hack that will let us all bring a little sparkle back into our lives. PVA GLUE! That’s right, the white stuff you used at school. Available at Poundland for just £1 for 500ml, this stuff is genius as a base coat for glitter. Just paint a thin layer directly onto your nail then manicure as you would normally. When you want to change your colour you just peel the polish off leaving your nail bare and ready for your next manicure. Genius!!!!!

2. As summer gets into full swing, I try to adapt my style a bit. I wear more chilled out make up and I like my hair to look a little less done.  To achieve my favourite beachy waves, I divide my hair into sections. I have thick hair so I work with 12 sections, if you have finer hair, eight sections may be enough for you. I then plait each section quite tightly and secure with a band. Once all sections are plaited I take my beloved GHDs and run them down the length of the plaits two or three times each. I leave for five minutes to cool, then take out the plaits. To finish I turn my head upside down and run my fingers through my hair. I then flip my hair back, spray it a little and VOILA - check me out looking like I got lost on my way to Coachella.

3. You will thank me for my third and final tip. You will thank me on those days when you finish your makeup, pull on your new white top and ARGHHHH you smear makeup all over the neckline. Don't panic! Stop screaming! Just head into the bathroom, find a tin of your boy's shaving cream and spray foam all over the stain. Gently work the foam into the stain, leave for minute or two then simply wipe the foam away with a facecloth. As if my magic, the stain will have disappeared. Who needs Dynamo????
So there you are - my top three beauty hacks that work. I hope you found them useful. If so then why not head over to Lippylikes to read more beauty news and reviews. See you there x

Hi!

My 3 top beauty tips are;

1. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!
Never forget to moisturize your skin - it's a vital step in your skin care routine. Even if you have the oiliest skin known to man you still need to moisturize it! When you wash your face, you strip it of
all its natural oils, this means that we become susceptible to infections and spots! You expose your skin to all the dirt in the atmosphere. But by applying moisturizer you keep your skin hydrated, healthy
and looking good. And we all want good looking skin don't we?!

2. Apply concealer in a V Shape Under your Eyes
By doing this you completely banish those dark circles. Start right at the inside corner at the bridge of your nose, then go to opposite corner at your outer lash line, then finally go down to make a V.
This completely gets rid of dark circles. Also, never rub in your concealer, this will age your eyes as time goes on. Gently pat it in.

3. Dry Shampoo is your best friend!
Me and dry shampoo are best buddies! We spend a lot of time with each other. It helps me get more volume in my hair, makes it smell great and makes it last longer. Who has time to wash their hair
every single day? If you're like me, then you have to wash it, blow dry it, then decide whether to straighten, curl or wave. It's a lot of time, but with dry shampoo, I can do this once every 2/3 days.
Dry shampoo is my favourite beauty tip, it makes my hair look amazing!

Hi everyone,

I'm Laur From MissLJBeauty I blog about Beauty, fashion and my upcoming wedding.

Today I'm over here with the gorgeous Lauren to do a Collab.
(this is me make up free except lip balm)

My top 3 beauty tips.

Water water water

1. Now this is my most important beauty tip. I am 30 about to be 31 and no one ever believes my age and thinks I'm in my early 20's. I put this down to the fact I drink loads of water and
this gives me good skin (most of the time). You have no idea the effect having the right amount of water in your body can do for you skin and your mood. So girls grab a glass and get drinking.

Make up free days

2. You know I love me some make up but there has to be make up free days in your routine. your skin is such a precious asset. Yes make up has  good things in it but your skin will thanks you for a day off.
I like to pop on a good moisturizer I'm using skindoctors No More pores £25.95 and really like it.  Every good make up look starts with your skin

Bronzer

3. I'm in the Highlands not much sun. I believe in faking not baking if I can. Dont get me wrong I love tanning but as I'm getting older I'm trying to be a bit more protective.
My key to the application of bronzer is really simple. Take a torch to your mirror. shine the touch at you face and notice where the sun/light would hit your face naturally this is where you apply bronzer.
This is my go to Bourjois Bronzer £7.99.

Hope you enjoyed this post pop over to my blog and check me out
please remember when your over send me your links too.

MissLJBeauty xoxo

So many amazing, great tips there for you ladies(or gents!) and some amazing ladies too. I hope they all helped. Keep your eyes open for PART 2 tomorrow.

What are your top beauty tips?

Spring and Summer Lipstick Picks

Hello beauties!
The sun has been beaming bright over the last few days and I have been loving it. Gone are the rainy days and cold weather and the sun is back, but for how long? I love the transition from winter to spring and summer, it must be one of my favourite times of the year. It's a great, fun time of the year with family gatherings, beach fun, barbeques and so much more. One thing I love to do during this time of the year is bring out those bright colours, whether it's a beautiful vivid lipstick or vibrant, almost neon clothing.

You can always see me sporting a bright lipstick especially pinks or corals, they are my all time favourite shades. A bright lip colour always makes me feel a whole lot better and confident. I have a huge stash of lipsticks and I have only been reaching for 5 of them over the last few weeks and I absolutely adore them all.

Here are my top 5 lipstick picks!

Spring and Summer Lipstick Picks
Spring and Summer Lipstick Picks
Spring and Summer Lipstick Picks
Spring and Summer Lipstick Picks
Spring and Summer Lipstick Picks

Bourjois Lip Crayon in 'Peach on the Beach'
I absolutely love this lip crayon, it's the most beautiful peachy-pink shade. I'd say it's quite a neutral shade rather than a bright 'out there' shade as the pigmentation isn't exactly incredible. This lip crayon is an instant pick me up which gives a lovely, subtle, sheer wash of colour to the lips. It is extremely wearable and perfect for everyday use when you don't want to glide on a bold lipstick.

MAC Lipstick in 'Saint Germain'
I have so many pink lipsticks in my stash and I have been opting for this MAC lipstick in Saint Germain recently over the others. It's a ravishing baby pink shade but cool toned so it looks great on my pale-fair skin. It's of the cremesheen formula which I happen to love. It feels matte but incredibly creamy on the lips and the pigmentation is as you'd expect in a high end lipstick, it's incredible and opaque in one swipe. If you're looking to invest in this lipstick check out my dupe post here to find a cheaper alternative.

Topshop Lipstick in 'Charmed'
I only just bought this off a blogsale a few weeks ago. It's my first topshop makeup purchase and I was in love with this from the first swipe. It's definitely out of my comfort zone as it's quite a flamboyant apricot-orange shade which I've never tried before. It doesn't wash me out like I thought it would, it glides nicely onto the lips and the texture of the lipstick is very smooth and velvety which I adore.

Revlon Matte Balm in 'Unapologetic'
This has to be my favourite of them all, it's a vivacious coral-pink that looks very 'out there' and phenomenal on the lips. It's definitely a lip colour that makes you stand out from the crowd. The Revlon Lip Balm has a matte finish but also feels super moisturising on the lips too. It has great lasting power and I only need to swipe this onto my lips again 3 hours after applying which is impressive.

MAC Lipstick in 'Hue'
Every girl needs a nude lipstick in their collection and this is my favourite. It's a very sweet, light pink that is a 'my lips but better' shade that gives a sheer wash of colour. It's of the glaze formula and it feels so buttery soft once applied but if you haven't exfoliated the lips beforehand it can make dry patches look very prominent. My lips always look glossy and as it's a glaze formula it gives off a beautiful sheen too. It is incredibly wearable and I always pair this with either a neutral eye or black liner for a toned down look.

Harper's Bazaar Birchbox May 2014

 Hello lovelies!
Over the last few months I have been deliberating about subscribing to a beauty box as I've heard so many wonderful things about them. I love the thought of having a box of goodies being delivered to my door and not knowing what I will receive. It is so exciting. I finally came to the decision of subscribing to Birchbox thanks to the lovely Gemma(MissMakeupMagpie) with her cheeky preview of the beautiful harpers bazaar box on Instagram. I just couldn't resist it. It's my very first birchbox and I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Please take your time to appreciate the design of the Harper's Bazaar Birchbox, isn't it beautiful? It's definitely spring/summer inspired with the floral and peacock theme and bright, attractive colours. It's extremely appealing to the eye.

The theme for the Harpers Bazaar Birchbox is the Great Outdoors."It's that time of the year when you're itching to get outside and explore the great outdoors whether that means a picnick in a park or a ramble through the woods". The Birchbox includes a Great Outdoors Beauty Guide which is a mini magazine full to the brim with information on all products featured in the Birchbox and a few tutorials and tips too.

The Birchbox also included an incredible Harpers Bazaar offer, a subscription of £12 for 12 issues of Harper's Bazaar Magazine. It's a fantastic offer which I am really tempted to take advantage of- it's a saving of 76% and only £1 per issue. Offer ends on 30th June 2014.

I don't know why but I was kind of expecting it to be a bigger sized box but I was astonished to see a lovely full sized product and a few sample sized products packed inside the white drawstring bag with a touch of turquoise. It's like they read my mind, I have been loving the colour turquoise lately.

Let's get down to the contents now shall we?

I received a full sized nail polish(non-toxic) from a brand I have never heard about before called Soigne. It's the most beautiful red shade named Pomegranate. I actually don't have a red nail polish in my collection at all so this is definitely a welcome addition. The nail polish comes in lovely white packaging enclosed in two pieces of foam to keep it from breaking. The packaging looks so luxurious and expensive. I can't wait to use it.
(The Full Size, £11)

I was so excited to see a liberal 30ml sample size of the cult favourite Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and muslin cloth carefully wrapped up in tissue paper. I have never tried the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish before but I had previously been thinking about purchasing it beforehand. I love that it comes with a muslin cloth too. I can try before I decide if I want to purchase a full size, how brilliant. It's all natural with ingredients including rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus essential oil. I am looking forward to trying this out.
(Full Size, £13.25)

Next is the Benefit They're Real! Mascara. I admittedly haven't tried many products from Benefit before so I was very excited to receive a 3.0g sample size of the Benefit They're Real! Mascara. There seems to be a love/hate relationship surrounding this product so I'm intrigued to try it out to see if I'll enjoy it.
(Full Size, £19.50)

I also received a 3ml sample size of the Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath and Shower Oil. For some bizarre reason the scent of this reminds me of the Vicks Vaporub. You know the stuff you rub onto your chest, back and neck to get rid of a blocked nose and common cold? Yeah, that stuff. It smells so strong but refreshing if that makes sense. I haven't tried it yet but I can't wait to try it out in my morning shower or bath as it's supposed to wake you up. It sounds like something that's going to come in handy when waking up at the early hours of the morning.
(Full Size, £39)

Last but not least is the Beauty Protector Protect Shampoo and Conditioner duo. I love that they come together and not seperately so you can use them together. They smell lovely and they are both sulfate and paraben free and also suitable for all hair types which I love. I haven't tried any new shampoo and conditioners for a while so I am curious to see if they'll make a difference to my hair.
(Full Size, £14 each)

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | Review

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

 Hello lovelies!
So I've probably mentioned this a gazillion times, so sorry if I'm repeating myself but recently I have become sooo obsessed with skincare. I have always been quite nervous and petrified about switching up my skincare routine as I have quite horrible oily, acne-prone skin. I was afraid some products may worsen my skin and cause yet another terrible breakout but lately that's obviously not been the case.

I've switched up my normal cleansers and moisturisers for new products except from the good ol' La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+. This baby is my spot zapper and works amazing so no chance of me settling for anything else just yet.

Anyway, as mentioned I have changed up my normal everyday cleansers. I always double cleanse so I have two different cleansers I use. One for removing my makeup and another for a deep cleanse. It's better to be safe than sorry right?

The makeup remover that I have been using for the last month is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Okay, so I've only just jumped onto the micellar water bandwagon but I didn't see what all the hype was about at the time. It just never seemed appealing to me, until now of course.
Bioderma took the blogging world by storm at first but I didn't want to pay such a hefty price for something that I couldn't be sure would work for me so Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water seemed to be the perfect place to start and let me tell you, I am in love.

The packaging is so appealing, there's just something about a transparent bottle that I  love. The bottle contains approximately 400ml of the cleansing water and you can apparently get 200 uses out of it which is great. I've used it so many times and there is still plenty left for me to use.

To remove my makeup I pour the cleansing water onto a cotton pad and massage it into the skin using circular motions and it lifts all makeup away from my skin with ease. I don't need to rub it into the skin very harshly, it removes with a gentle touch. Eye makeup is a different story though, it takes a while to remove but I tend to leave it to soak onto the eyes and remove away gently after 5-10 seconds. I only need at least 2 or 3 cotton pads to remove my entire made up face.
It doesn't leave my face dry or strip any oil away from the skin, it's suitable for even the most sensitive skin and it leaves my face feeling refreshed and immensely clean.

The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has reduced my skincare routine a great deal. Before I was introduced to it I was very taken with my Olay Cleansing Milk and have been for years. I always used to spend at least a good ol' 5 minutes to remove my makeup but now it takes at least 2 minutes which is always a good thing.

I wasn't expecting to like this when I bought it I must admit but I am so delighted that I decided to purchase it. It's reduced my skincare routine in a considerable amount of time and it does just the job of getting rid of makeup without exacerbating my skin. I can't rave about this stuff enough! If you haven't tried this cleansing water I highly suggest you do.

You can currently buy it from Boots online here for just £2.99 on offer down from £4.99.

Have you tried the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water?
