A few weeks ago I took a trip to Exeter for the day for a friends birthday. We did a little bit of shopping and headed to Nando's(it was our first time), and my god was we missing out. Before we leave for the train we always go to Lush, without fail, because, well, it's not a real shopping trip without going into Lush. After all we live an hour and a bit away from Exeter, and it is our nearest store. At the time they had just brought the Valentines Day range out so I was dying to check it out.
As always I came away with a few things, although I didn't go too over the top like I normally would as I have quite the collection of Lush goodies at the moment. I was a good girl this time and only picked up six things, four of which are from the Valentines Day range. So what did I pick up on my Lush Haul?
The first thing that I knew I was going to pick up was the Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar. Isn't it just the most prettiest, magical thing you've ever laid your eyes on? It's very colourful and has a certain calmness about it, with ingredients such as lavender oil and ylang ylang oil, it's sure going to relax you. I bought two of these last year and I find that you can easily get three baths out of one of them. Pretty reasonable right? especially as it's just £4.25 too.
A new bubble bar(as far as I'm aware) that I discovered was the Big Bang Bubble Bar. Not only is it really vibrant and eye catching, it smells pretty damn good too. It's very citrusy and refreshing, which are my most favourite kind of Lush products. I haven't used it yet(but the fella has). He was super sneaky and used it in his bath yesterday afternoon. I can't blame him though, it does smell pretty amazing. At £3.75 it's sure to last you between 2-3 baths.
Alongside this, I also discovered two more new products in the form of the Razzle Dazzle Bath Oil and Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment Bath Oil. They are both different scent wise I'd say. Razzle Dazzle smells a bit floral, whereas Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment smells really sweet, it sure smells like the signature Lush snow fairy scent. I'm yet to use Razzle Dazzle but I couldn't resist popping that sweet smelling beauty in my bath the other day. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturised, and I was very taken in by the smell. Seriously, how long does that scent last after you've left the room and let the water out? Incredible. Both of them cost just £2.
One that I am most excited to use is the Lover Lamp Bath Bomb. I'm unsure as to whether it is new to the Valentines Day range, but it smells soo good. It has a concoction of sweet vanilla and brazilian orange oil. Oh it is quite heavenly. It isn't the most creative of bath bombs but I adore the cute little red hearts. It costs £3.95.
And lastly is the Kiss Lip Scrub. It smells so lovely, with a strange combination of almonds and mandarin, but it works quite well together. Inside this pot of goodness you'll find some super cute red hearts too, perfectly edible of course. It will last you a bloomin' long time too. It is available to purchase at £5.50.
Have you bought anything from Lush recently? I'd love to know what you picked up
