As of a few months ago I received a surprise parcel from Maybelline as being part of the #maybellinesquad which I was so so excited about. Amongst this wonderful parcel was a few of their brand new launches. I've already talked about their Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks(here) which I absolutely fell in love with and their Jelly Tints Nail Polishes(here). Now it's onto the eyes, with my everyday eye essentials.
You know how much I loved the original Lash Sensational Mascara? Well they have now released a brand new mascara called the *Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara(£7.99) which is just as good. The wand is curved slightly, exactly like the original which I'm so glad about. If you wiggle the wand rather than brush through as you would normally it really gets to the base of the lashes and makes your lashes look a lot more fuller and thicker, but not too thick. There is a certain twist to it too as it contains multiple oils within the formula. I find that it makes it easier to remove without using a heavy duty eye remover which is good news for my poor eyes. It also makes my lashes feel somewhat silky and conditioned too as opposed to them feeling like they have a ton of mascara on them which is good.
Now let's talk eyeliner. You have your basic pencil kohl eyeliners, liquid liners and gel liners but I get along with the liquid formula better. There are 2 new liquid liners, the Master Ink Liquid Liner in Matte White and also the Master Precise Curvy. The *Master Ink Eyeliner(£4.99) is not so new but it has since been released in a white shade. It is so pretty on the upper lash line complete with a bold, or even a nude slick of lipstick, rosy cheeks and a ton of mascara. It's simply stunning and dries down to a matte finish. It is so easy to use too as the tip is flexible rather than stiff so you can easily glide the brush along the lash line rather than dragging it, creating a lovely feline flick.
Out of the two liners I was most impressed by the *Master Precise Curvy Eyeliner(£6.99). It has an hourglass nib which I love. Using the fine side of the nib I glide it along from the inner corner and outwards towards the middle, then I switch it over to the thicker side to pull the liner out further and thicken the line. I then like to turn it back around onto the thin part again to flick the wing out. It is so simple to use, especially as the liner itself is sculpted, which makes it so much easier to hold and control. The eyeliner comes across so black too, even though the swatches don't do it much justice if I'm honest(sorry!).
What are your everyday eye essentials? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know!
