There are so many exciting releases coming out lately and so my wishlist has been growing and growing since. I'm now on a spending ban to save money up for the upcoming birthdays and christmas. This time of the year is the most expensive. I have Alfies birthday and Christmas within days of each other, urgh. Why did he have to arrive so early? haha. It is seriously torture knowing that I have money that I can't spend but I've managed it for over a little while now. If I can do that, I can do anything right?. Anyway the whole purpose of this post was to show you what's on my awfully long wishlist. Let's get to it!
Spectrum The Bombshell | £79.99
This gorgeous collection of makeup brushes were only just released not so long ago. It includes a total of 12 brushes which are used for both the eyes and face. They come in the most beautiful shell shaped bag with a pearl metallic sheen with a rose gold chain. Each one of the brushes have accents of baby pink, dark pink and rose gold within them which is so 'me'. I need!
My skin is in no way perfect. I have acne prone and combination skin which also has its fair share of scarring too, so when it comes down to foundation I really need a foundation that covers everything. I have seen this foundation everywhere, on youtube, blogs, etc. It is highly raved about. It is high coverage and looks like it has a gorgeous finish. Although it's a little pricey I still really want to try it out but I don't think it'd be one for everyday wear.
I'm not normally one for a vibrant and glitter packed eyeshadow palette but the Moondust Palette is just not one that I can pass up on. I really want to try and experiment with more colours and I seriously believe I would wear every single one of the eyeshadows in the palette. My favourites are Galaxy, Element and Magnetic. Urgh, I want this so much!
Sooo, Kat Von D Beauty is finally available in the UK, and I couldn't be more excited. I was literally counting down until the big day and as soon as they launched onto Debenhams I ordered a few things. See what I bought here. I only managed to pick up a few things but next on my list is the Kat Von D Lock-it Foundation. It's supposedly a high coverage foundation which is just what I need. The only thing that baffles me is the shade range. I have no idea what shade I would be as the whole range is quite extensive and there's not anywhere I can get colour matched, unless I spent the £££ to travel to London next month when it launches in stores. Nuh-uh, not happening.
Another from Kat Von D is the Lock-it Creme Concealer. I was going to purchase it when it was finally launched on Debenhams but I decided against it. I didnt want to spend too much. Again I would have no idea what shade to buy but I know I'd need two, one for covering my acne scarring and another for highlighting. It's claimed to be long lasting, creamy and transfer and water resistant. It sounds too good to be true. I don't want it, I need it!
I have seen many a youtuber and blogger rave about the Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme Liquid Lipsticks. There are so many beautiful shades within the range in matte and metallic finishes but there are at least three that I want, Papaye, Peche and Dulce De Leche. They are described as full coverage with 'pigment-rich colour that dries with a smooth, soft touch finish'. Oh they sound so dreamy.
I popped into Boots the other week but just for a browse and I found myself looking around the fragrance section. There are always so many scents being released at this time of the year. I spritzed a little of the Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming Eau de Parfum and I fell in love. It is the most wonderful floral scent mixed with a few juicy fruity notes to it. Oh, it is just divine.
It's safe to say that I am highlighter obsessed. I've said this many times but I just can't control myself. Everytime I see a new highlighter I am instantly drawn to it like a magpie. The Urban Decay Highlighter in Sin is one that I need in my collection. It's a gorgeous champagne but looking at the swatches is nothing like any other highlighter I have within my collection. That's my excuse as to why I need it anyway.
What's on your wishlist this month?
