A Few New Beauty Bay Purchases

I very rarely ever treat myself to new beauty products, well, definitely not as much as I used to, that's for sure. With just two weeks left until I'm due to give birth I thought I was entitled to it. I mean c'mon, a girl has to look her best when she's going through one of the most painful but beautiful experiences of her life, right? That's my excuse anyway.

I was scouring Beauty Bay for quite a while as I was unsure as to what I wanted but soon enough I found myself with a few things in my cart and heading towards the checkout. It made it all the more exciting knowing I would receive my goodies the next day too as I ordered before 8pm. Don't you just love it when you get free next day delivery?

A Beauty Bay Haul

I have had my eyes on the Milani Baked Blushes for a while now, ever since I first seen NikkiTutorials use them in a makeup tutorial. I guess you could say she was entirely to blame for this purchase. I decided upon two shades, Luminoso, a peachy pink, and Dolce Pink which is a warm pink. They are my first purchases from Milani so far, I really can't wait to try them. I have my eye on the powder blushes next.

I completely bought this on a whim after spotting the palette on Dorotas Instagram. I was completely drawn in by the pretty packaging and the three blush and highlighter shades within the palette. The two satin pink blushes and pearlescent highlighter look like they'll suit my somewhat pale complexion wonderfully.

As soon as I entered the BB site I was alerted to the fact that Beauty Bakerie was now stocked on the site which I was super excited about. I have been meaning to try out the Lip Whips for a while now. There are some serious claims about the lasting power and pigmentation of them so of course I needed to try one out for myself didn't I? There were many shades to choose from but I opted for Watermelon Slushie, a pinky-coral. It's quite surprising that I didn't go for another nude but I'm glad I steered clear of them as Watermelon Slushie looks like it'll be a gorgeous summer colour.

This setting spray was another blogger influenced purchase(what a surprise!). It's supposed to give your makeup a healthy and glowy finish, which is exactly what I like. There are two different sizes, 30ml or 120ml but I decided to buy play it safe and buy the smaller version just in case I didn't like it. I am yet to try it out but I am looking forward to trying it out. I want to see if it lives up to the hype.

Morphe Brushes
I was in serious need of some new eye makeup brushes, and after watching this Morphe Brush Favourites video from Jaclyn Hill I was somewhat persuaded to add some new Morphe Brushes into my collection. I chose the M441, M433 and E36. The M441 and M433 are blending brushes and the other is a detail crease brush. From my first impressions they feel rather soft and of good quality, but only time will tell.

What have you been buying lately?
