Imperial Leather Limited Edition Fantasy Icons Shower Gel

Guess what? I'm baaaaaack. I was totally exaggerating that in my head, but yes, indeed, I am back, a month later, but it feels like a lot longer than that. I took a hiatus from my blog for personal reasons that I won't go into, but I have been missing it a heck of a lot more than I thought I would. Whilst yes, I have been more absent than I have been active here on the blog, the time away gave me time to think about what I want from this little space of mine on the internet. In the past it was more of a hobby than anything. It was a place to share my love for Beauty with like minded people like yourselves. It still is a hobby, but I'm at that stage where I wish I could make it into something more. I mean, right now it's impossible to make my blog a full time job and commit to certain things, but hopefully in the near future that will happen. Looking after three boys under four can be quite hectic so I struggle to find an inbetween. I'm a stay at home mum and Josh works so the only time I really have to myself is when the boys are asleep. It'll gradually get easier, but at the moment I'm just going with the flow. I post as and when I feel like it. I cannot for the life of me keep to a schedule. I commend anyone who can, especially if you're a parent and juggling children like I am currently doing.

That aside, I have my mojo back and I'm ready to get back into it. I have to introduce to you my favourite body products of the moment, the Imperial Leather Fantasy Icons Shower Gels. There are currently four Limited Edition shower gels- Mermazing, Let's Flamingle, Tropic like it's Hot and Cosmic Unicorn.

Imperial Leather Limited Edition Shower Gels

Now, although there were four scents from the LE range I only picked up two as the others weren't to my 'taste'. I have Tropic like it's Hot and Let's Flamingle(catchy names right?). I think the names are cute but what had me well and truly hooked was the scent of them, but we will get into that in a little while.

I picked up the Shower Gels in Superdrug while they were on offer(they were 2 for £2 rather than £1.99 each). That is a bargain in my book. The offer is currently still on so if you're thinking of snapping them up, I'd do so now before it ends.

First I want to take notice of how beautiful and vibrant the packaging is. It sure catches the eye. It certainly did as soon as I entered the store. It really drew me in. I was sniffing through the whole collection as soon as I walked through those doors, haha. I was actually so tempted to pick up the Cosmic Unicorn Shower Gel purely for the cute packaging but I resisted as the scent just wasn't for me. Perhaps I will next time as my niece is obsessed with Unicorns. I'm sure she'd love that.

Out of the two shower gels I picked up I have to say my favourite is Let's Flamingle. It is scented with Pink Lychee and Raspberry. A concoction I've never tried before, but the combination of them together smells incredible. I love it so much that I've stocked up on a few more of them before they leave our shelves. I've bought one a week since I first bought it. You could say I'm obsessed. It's not like I need that much shower gel. I already have
one of my alex drawers full of them. At least I know I'll never run out.

Now, although Let's Flamingle is my fave, Tropic like it's Hot smells pretty amazing too. It's scented with Pineapple and Coconut. It just smells like summer in a bottle. It's very fruity and refreshing which I just love. It certainly gives you a jolt to wake up in the morning, which is what I need when I'm doing the school run after 8am.

Scents aside, you really need a generous 50 pence piece sized dollop to lather up the whole body, but just one bottle of the shower gel lasts quite a while. You won't be running out of product within two weeks like others do. Also, I find that after using either shower gel, the scent lingers on the skin for up to half an hour after use. To many half an hour is nothing, but with many other shower gels I've tried, the scent dissipates within a few minutes. I really wish that they'd make them into a bath milk or something. Imperial Leather, if you read this at all, please take note.

Now, as I mentioned before, I originally purchased the Fantasy Icons Shower Gels from Superdrug in a 2 for £2 offer but I've found them to be a liiittle bit cheaper in Wilkos for 90p each. A saving of 10p isn't too bad is it? A saving is a saving. You have to watch the pennies.

Have you tried the Imperial Leathers LE Fantasy Icons Shower Gels?
